Vitafloor® is a newly developed product for the preventative, restorative and medical treatment of larger animals, especially horses.
Vitafloor® was invented and developed by Bø family. Vitafloor® is not a type of medicine, it is a floor; a “living” one as such.
The floor is built inside the box where the horse stands, and vibrates and is raised and lowered, thus causing the horse’s blood circulation to increase and also its muscles trained, all while standing in the box.

Product news

We can now offer our costumers Vitafloor® from a small model maximum 1,80m x 3m and all up to 3m x 3,50m installed in i box.
Our largest product will be produced by measures, and our smallest product will be a standard product.
We will also offer with or without lifting. All research and testings on Vitafloor® has shown that our liftingsystem in the floor gives a bigger benefit.

Vitafloors® function

 
The floor stands only 9 cm over the original floor and is therefore not considered as a hindrance to the horse.
Vitafloor® is constructed in such a way that it is possible for the adjustable vibrating and lowering/raising to run separately and also simultaneously, all depending on the type of treatment necessary to the horse.
Vitafloor® causes increased blood circulation in the whole horse without strain, and improves the horse’s general wellbeing.

Vitafloor® has been tested on various horses since January 2002 and the results so far are very positive (see reference lists).
The horses are comfortable with the treatment and willingly enter the box again. The product is undergoing medical trials at Sweden’s Agricultural University in Uppsala. The aim of these trials is to prove that Vitafloor has a beneficial effect on the horse in regards to preventative, restorative, and medical treatment. A coin operated version can also be supplied in order to simplify leasing to riding centres and stables. With effective use of Vitafloor® it is quite possible to perform 20 treatments per day.

 

Important Information

Vitafloor® is the first and ORIGINAL Vibrating floor for horses developed and manufactured in Norway - used and proven from 2002 by Swedish Agriculture University in Uppsala, a several numbers of riders, trotting trainers and gallop trainers with great effect. Regarding vibration floor for horses The Swedish Agriculture University have only done studies on Vitafloor®, and the research results on Vitafloor® is not to be compared with any other vibration floor for horses. Vitafloor® can with over 5 years of testing and development asure our costumers that we with our patented construction on the floor have controlled and good vibrations proven by the Swedish Agriculture University in Uppsala

 

Approval and patents

 
Vitafloor® is approved and certified by NEMKO, and tested according to medical directive Class 1.
The approval is global (although special requirements can occur in certain countries).

Vitafloor®is patented in Norway and an international application (PCT) is under consideration.

The aim is to patent the product in several countries.
